During my recent stay at Super 8 in Columbia, SC, I had the pleasure of indulging in their breakfast spread, reminiscent of a European continental selection. The morning sun streamed in through the windows as I sipped my coffee, and the aroma of freshly baked pastries from Ally & Eloise Bakeshop, just a stone's throw away, filled the air. As a seasoned traveler with a discerning palate, I found the breakfast offerings to be satisfactory, though a tad stale. However, the convenience of having Sonic Drive-In, McDonald's, Eastern Buffet, and Schiano's Italian Eatery in the vicinity provided a tempting array of dining options for later in the day.I couldn't resist exploring the local culinary scene, and my culinary adventure led me to Schiano's Italian Eatery, which offered a delightful mix of traditional flavors and modern twists. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff enhanced my dining experience, creating a sense of warmth and authenticity. I must say, the breakfast was a pleasant start to my day, setting the tone for culinary discoveries ahead.
